Will / Won't - Might.- Predictions

 

Will.- 100% Yes. It will happen. It definetely will.

Won't.- 100% No. It won't happen. No way.

Might.- 50% maybe. It may happen. Perhaps, it depends.


Going to / Will / Won't .- Basic Future Tenses

 

- Next week I am going to visit my granny. I've got the flight tickets.

 

- Next week I will go to visit my granny. I still have to buy the tickets.

 

- Next week I won't go to visit my granny. She is going to be on a cruise ship.

 

Going to.- 100% Yes. It is decided or planned. You've been thinking about it. 

Will.- 75% Yes. It's not 100% sure. It is not decided yet. Last minute decision.

Won't.- 100% No. It won't happen. No way.

 



Let's see the different types of Future Tenses:

Will / Shall

- I have just decided. Tomorrow I will go to London!

- Mmm, I think tomorrow is gonna rain. I won't go to the beach then.

 

- Shall I go to London tomorrow with Ann?

- Shall we eat pizza tonight?

- Will they come to the party?

- Will your mother com to the meeting?

- My auntie is playing tennis tomorrow at three o'clock in the afternoon.

- My brother is taking an exam in two weeks time.
